Application of 3D printing technology in the hands of upper limb prosthetics
Rotatable thumb
Post-locking mechanism
The autonomous closure (VC) model contains a post-locking mechanism. This allows the user to lock the hand in a closed position for tasks such as carrying a bag or continuously grasping an object.
Rotatable wrist
The wrist features a ball-and-socket joint structure, allowing users to quickly and easily change hand direction. The wrist allows the hand to rotate 360 degrees while also flexing and extending 25 degrees.
Adaptive grip
The adaptive grip mechanism allows fingers to conform to irregularly shaped objects, making them easier to grasp and hold.
I hope our domestic related 3D printing companies or prosthetic limb companies can learn from this and provide more good products for domestic consumers to choose from.
