In order to further implement the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" for the development of disabled people in Hebei Province, innovate the service model for disabled people, and promote the employment and entrepreneurship of disabled people, the 2017 Employment and Entrepreneurship Fair for Disabled Persons in Hebei Province will be held on March 23, hosted by the Hebei Disabled Persons' Federation and co-organized by the Hebei Provincial Disabled Persons' Labor Service Center and the Hebei Provincial Talent Exchange Service Center.

Where is the venue?

This event is the first attempt to simultaneously hold employment and entrepreneurship fairs for disabled people throughout Hebei Province, using the principle of proximity to organize recruiting units and disabled people to participate in the fairs. The main venue will be set up in Shijiazhuang, and branch venues will be set up in Langfang, Tangshan, Handan, and Zhangjiakou. Video conference venues will be set up on a pilot basis in four poor and disaster-stricken counties: Jingxing County, Xingtai County, Laiyuan County, and Nanpi County. Which recruitment units are recruiting?

This fair is a public welfare job fair, with more than 160 employers participating in the recruitment, and it is expected to provide more than 2,000 jobs. Among them, there are 100 employers at the main venue, including Watsons, KFC, Hebei Centennial Craftsman Co., Ltd., Changshan Mingrong Home Textile Co., Ltd. and many other well-known companies and caring enterprises in Beijing and Tianjin.

There are mainly employment positions in finance, design, medical care, inspection, salespersons, clerks, human resources management, waiters, technicians, operators, housekeepers, customer service, etc.

What services will be provided?

In order to facilitate communication and negotiation between enterprises and disabled people, this fair will introduce corporate recruitment information through video systems, electronic scrolling screens, unit demand information posters, etc., and set up a policy consultation desk to publicize relevant employment policies, and provide high-quality services for companies and job-seeking disabled people. At the same time, the venue will provide vocational ability assessment and job search guidance for disabled people participating in the meeting. All employment information of disabled job seekers will be included in the "Hebei Province Disabled Persons Employment Information Database", and tracking employment information services will be provided after the meeting.

Recruit volunteers and solicit jobs and entrepreneurial projects

In addition, the conference will take a number of humanistic service measures to serve the disabled, and plans to recruit volunteers to provide assistance services to disabled people with limited mobility. At the same time, we will conduct a comprehensive collection of employment positions and entrepreneurial projects suitable for persons with disabilities from the society, and sincerely invite all types of enterprises and institutions that can provide jobs suitable for persons with disabilities and operate legally to sign up for the conference.
